An interesting read. Finally some answers to daily questions someone does not bother to follow up. For instance: Why are the warning vests of e.g. construction workers or the marker "glow" so much? Why is wet fabric darker than dry one? Why does water boil at 212 degrees Fahrenheit and freezes at 32 degrees? Why these seemingly odd numbers. What is the real reason, why a 400 to jet plane can fly? (Hint it is not Bernoulli's principle, at least that is not the full story) If there is an absolute zero temperature, is there an upper bound? What is the hottest heat?

All these questions are answered in a light way without getting lost in arithmetic equations etc.
